Bretton Woods signatures; United Nations charter; Ceremony of Signatures at Bretton Woods

The United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference was held from July 1-22, 1944. 730 delegates from 44 nations convened in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire to craft a post-War monetary system. The agreements were ratified by 80 percent by December 27, 1945 and created the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
